Alice Hadley, Medical Librarian at the US Naval Hospital in Guam, started a series of messages on how to become a "free and independent traveler on the information highway" for her patrons, and is sharing them with us in the event that we find them useful. At the annual MLA meeting in San Antonio in 2005, a number of Federal Libraries Section members and officers suggested we offer these as a column on the section web site.
Alice was totally in agreement with this idea, and has provided edited versions to make these tips more "generic" in nature. As she writes them up and sends them out, we will add each new piece to the FLS web site. Just click on the links below to access these tips.
